ReplyDeleteMan, this completely brings a dream I had a few days ago flooding back. Thrust into a world of giants whose sole entertainment seemed to be hunting smallish me, I krept through an upper window into a building whose main floors - like some garish corporate foyer - were hollow and flooded with a creamy turbulence, which, on closer examination (shit, I was plummeting toward this freakshow) was a kind of glutinous pyschic acid, a dissolver of beings, where the giants threw their enemies to be drowned and subsumed into this thousand faced lipid-yellow sea that schlocked backwards and forwdz, crashing over itself, every wave, every ripple wearing the thousands of faces of its dissolved persons, all of them freaking the fuck out, still, after all this time, screaming their hopeless unhappiness before splashing down and giving rise to the next. It was a pretty crap, but impressively inventive sort of purgatory. Then I left, and helped throw people out of windows, on video. Which is less awful than it sounds.
